Fantastic Beasts +Universal

We had so much fun this weekend attending the FIRST fans screening of the new Fantastic Beasts movie! We randomly got tickets to attend, and were stoked. I recently finished all of the Harry Potter movies (don't judge me that I'm behind everyone ok), and was deeeevvaaassted when it ended. It's fun that the world continues on, and there's more to come.

We woke up that morning at 5 AM to be at our check in time at 6. They gave us free parking, free voodoo doughnuts, popcorn, soda, gift bags, AND free day passes to Universal. Honestly, we thought it was too good to be true, so we didn't even want to be excited about it until it actually happened. The only downside was that we were in the 3rd row in an IMAX theater, so I looked like this the whole time, since I hadn't waken up entirely.

The movie was great! I was confused for most of it, mostly because I finished the first movie by watching a synopsis, and this one was all about family tree stuff and who's related to who and what not. Go see it though! Super fun.

We were honestly so stoked to go to Universal for free. We had been wanting to go to it, but didn't want to fork over several hundred dollars incase we didn't like it. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend paying that much to go, unless you're dying to see the Universal Hollywood studio or the Harry Potter world. The whole park is pretty small, and it got super packed real quick. We spent an hour in line for The Simpsons ride, and it just was a motion simulator that left me with a sore neck. The park only has like two actual roller coasters, and the rest are all motion simulators, so if you're into that, great! We were just really happy we didn't fork over hundreds of dollars for it. We even left in the afternoon, because it got way too crowded, and we had already done everything.

Here's some pictures from the day:

We had been craving voodoo doughnuts for months, so we were so stoked to see these bad boys there fo free ninety nine

Harry Potter world is my fav for sure

Went to go buy a chocolate frog, and they were $11 freaking dollars! No whey jose

Our favorite part of the day was when we just walked on the Harry Potter ride! The morning was pretty empty luckily. In the afternoon, they had a Q&A with some of the cast members, so that made it extra crowded.

The studio tour was one of my favorite parts. Psycho is one of my all time fav movies!

Getting a pic with this is honestly a strrrruuuggglle because it's in direct sunlight all day.

Hi! I'm Shannon, and I'm so happy to have you in this little corner of the internet. I love sharing blurbs about life, decor, and my art. Hope you enjoy!
